You just had surgery, or you are healing from an injury, and your doctor was clear: no strenuous activity. Rest. Let your body mend.
But the grass did not hear any of that. It keeps growing. And every week it gets a little taller, a little harder to ignore.
Here is the good news. You do not have to touch it. Not this week, not until you are fully healed. We will handle the whole thing while you rest.
Why the Mower Can Wait
Pushing a mower is not light work. It strains your core, your back, your arms, and your knees all at once.
That matters more than most people realize when they are recovering. After abdominal or orthopedic surgery, doctors commonly ask patients to avoid heavy lifting and strenuous activity for six to eight weeks. In the first weeks, many surgeons cap lifting at just five to ten pounds.
Mowing blows right past that limit. Pushing a mower raises the pressure inside your abdomen, which can strain a healing incision and even raise the risk of a hernia or a wound reopening. After a hip or knee replacement, many surgeons say push mowing is off the table for around eight weeks.
Doing too much too soon can undo real progress. Wounds can reopen. Repairs can slip. A few weeks of healing can turn into months.
(This is not medical advice. Always follow your own surgeon or doctor. But if they told you to take it easy, taking it easy should include the yard.)
Temporary Help, Exactly When You Need It
You do not need a year-long plan. You need coverage for the weeks you are healing.
That is exactly what we do. Book one-time service, or short-term coverage for a stretch of weeks. No contract, ever.
- One visit to catch up an overgrown yard
- Short-term weekly care through your recovery
- Cancel anytime once you are back on your feet
- Keep it going if you decide you like having it handled
When you are healed, you decide what happens next. There is zero pressure either way.
You Do Not Even Need to Be Home
This is the part that makes recovery easier. You do not have to be there. You do not have to greet anyone or supervise anything.
A spouse, an adult child, or a friend can set the whole thing up remotely. Booking needs no upfront payment. You pay after the visit, or a family member can pay by card from anywhere.
So if you are laid up, or staying with family while you recover, or just not up to it, someone who loves you can take care of it in about five minutes. From their phone. Wherever they are.
What Every Visit Includes
