Lawn Care for Military Families in Hershey: Deployments, PCS Moves, and One Less Thing to Worry About

When you serve, the timing is never yours to pick. Orders come. You pack. You go. And the lawn back home in Hershey keeps growing whether you are here or halfway around the world.

That is a small problem that turns into a big one fast. This is for the service member who just got orders, the spouse holding the household together, and the veteran family that already has enough on the calendar.

The Yard Is the Last Thing You Should Have to Think About

Military families move a lot. On average, a family relocates every two to three years, and a large share of service members make a permanent change of station in any given year. That is a lot of packing, a lot of goodbyes, and a lot of half-managed to-do lists.

Deployments and TDY stretch it further. You are gone for weeks or months. Your spouse is running the house solo, often with kids and a job. Mowing on a Saturday is not the priority, and it should not have to be.

Here is what we do, every single visit:

  • Mow the whole lawn at the right height
  • String-trim around fences, beds, posts, and trees
  • Hard-edge your walkways and driveway for a clean line
  • Blow off every hard surface so nothing gets tracked inside

One flat price per visit. No add-ons. No surprises. All-electric equipment, so it is quiet and clean around the neighborhood.

An Unkempt Lawn Costs More Than You Think

A tall, ragged lawn does two things you do not want.

First, it can cost you money. Many HOAs set a maximum grass height, and when you cross it, the notices start. If the violation is not fixed, an HOA can fine you, keep fining you, or even hire a contractor to cut it and bill you for the work. Unpaid fines can turn into a lien on the house, which becomes a real headache when you try to sell or refinance before your next move. Township ordinances can carry their own penalties too.

Second, it signals an empty home. An overgrown yard, uncollected clippings, and a generally neglected look tell everyone driving by that nobody is around. That is exactly the impression you do not want while you are deployed. A tidy, cared-for lawn says someone is home and paying attention.

Keeping the grass cut is one of the cheapest forms of peace of mind you can buy while you are away.

Set It Up From Anywhere. Pay From Anywhere.

You do not need to be home for any of this. You do not need to be in the same time zone.

  • Book remotely. Get a quote and set up service from your phone, wherever you are stationed.
  • No upfront payment. Pay after your first visit, or put a card on file so it just runs.
  • No need to be home. We work the yard whether you are there or not.
  • No contract. Start it, pause it, stop it. You are never locked in.

If you are only away for a stretch, ask about a short-term away bundle to cover the exact weeks you need and nothing more. Deploying for six months? We can keep it going the whole time and you never lift a finger.

The deployed member gets to stop worrying about the yard. The spouse at home gets one less thing on the list. That is the whole point.

Simple, Flat Weekly Pricing

Every visit includes the mow, trim, edge, and blow-off. You pick nothing extra.

  • Up to a quarter acre: $45 per visit
  • Quarter to half acre: $60 per visit
  • Half to three-quarter acre: $75 per visit
  • Three-quarter to one acre: $90 per visit

That is it. Same price every week, so you can budget it and forget it.
